Caiman Lodge is in one of the best places in the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, located around the Laguna Grande, accessible by canoe all year round, not depending on the season. Caiman Lodge was designed and built by two of Cuyabeno's most experienced guides and managers. It has a capacity for 40 people, we have triple, quadruple, quintuple, and matrimonial rooms, each room with its own private bathroom and hot water.
We also have a relaxation area, hammocks and an impressive bird watching tower with a great view from the seventh floor over the lagoon and jungle. All our guests are assisted by an accredited naturalist guide, a licensed canoe driver and the Caiman Lodge Crew.
In the wildlife reserve of cuyabeno there are 10 species of monkeys, 4 species of caimans, 590 species of birds, 167 mammals, 90 amphibians, 90 reptiles and hundreds of species of insects and spiders, along with an incredible 307 species of trees per hectare.
