If you are coming from Quito to Caiman Lodge book our private bus that will be available all week except Tuesdays and Saturdays (unless there is a minimum group of 8 people).

The meeting point is in Quito at the following address La Guayunga Guesthouse (see map) ( Calle José Antepara E4-27 y Vicente León Barrio:, Quito 170113) and will depart from Quito to Cuyabeno at 23:30 p.m. The trip in private transport from Quito takes between 8 to 9 hours to Lago Agrio, where we will have a stop for breakfast, buy something at the bar or go to the bathroom. Our meeting point in Lago Agrio is ( Magic Paradise ) , where you will have time for breakfast. At 9:30 am we will leave Lago Agrio towards the Cuyabeno Bridge arriving at 11:30 am where your guides will be waiting for you to start the tour.

If you wish to return to Quito by private transportation after the tour (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday) the private bus will pick you up at the Cuyabeno Bridge 11:45 to 12:00pm We will make a stop in Lago Agrio (Magic Paradise) to buy snacks, have lunch or go to the bathroom. We will continue the tour and you will be arriving in Quito around 11:30pm the same day.

The cost of private transportation from Quito is not included in the tour and must be paid in cash to the driver on the day of departure.

Getting to Caiman Lodge by public bus

There are direct buses between Lago Agrio and Quito - 7 hours (Terminal Sur Quitumbe), Baños - 9 hours, Guayaquil - 15 hours, Portoviejo, Loja, Tena, Puyo, Ambato, Riobamba, Cuenca, Machala.

The Amazon Jungle Tour will start at the Cuyabeno Bridge, but you can arrive at the meeting point at any time. MAGIC PARADISE (See map ) in Lago Agrio and come on the private bus that operates every day with reservations at 9.00 a.m. (At the time of booking you will be sent the map with the exact location that you must give to the cab driver who has a rate of $3.50), so it is easier to take the night bus, to get to Lago Agrio in the morning.

On the last day of your Amazon jungle tour you will return to the Cuyabeno Bridge at 11:30 am (reserve the private bus Cuyabeno - Lago Agrio), this private bus will drop you off at the Lago Agrio bus terminal or Magic Paradise to continue to Quito around 2:00 pm. Transportation to and from Lago Agrio to Cuyabeno is NOT included in the tour. From Quito: there are buses between Quito (Terminal Quitumbe) and Lago Agrio every hour. The last bus from Terminal Quitumbe (Company: Baños) leaves at 11.30 p.m. Ticket Price: $ 14

Travel by own car

If you come by car you can go directly to the meeting point MAGIC PARADISE (View Map) (there are spaces to leave your vehicle for free) You must be there at 9:00 AM so that you have time to have breakfast and take the private bus to Cuyabeno (reserve a private bus).
